Gilbert William Bayes (1873-1953) was an eminent sculptor and medalist known for works such as 'Queen of Time' bronze group Selfridges, sculptured friezes at the National War Museum and V&A, the sculpture ‘Destiny' War Memorial Ramsgate and many international public works.
He had a long running association with Royal Doulton
Dated 1917
