FURNITURE

1.Aesthetic Movement bow fronted display cabinet in ebony with ivory and boxwood
inlaid decoration.

Design attributed to Peter Graham
Jackson and Graham were a firm of cabinet makers producing an exceptional standard of
work in the latter part of the nineteenth century. Designers worthy of note were Owen
Jones and Bruce Talbert and Peter Graham.

6. Aesthetic Movement fire screen with folding panels of stained and painted leaded glass
depicting a central medieval figure with dog, surrounded by typical Aesthetic Movement
hand painted creatures. Frogs, fish, owls, birds and butterflies all contained within an oak
frame.

designs

13. Old English style paneled back desk chair with profusely inlaid stylized decoration.

14. Arts and Crafts desk in oak, the fitted top section with doors and drawers and
distinctive pierced oak gallery. The base with drawers, floral inlaid detail, cut through legs
and shaped stretchers. Hand wrought iron metal work.

16. Arts & Crafts exceptional dining table and matching eight chairs in oak with stylised
inlaid heart decoration in pewter and ebony. The high back chairs having rush seats and
upholstered suede back panels. The table is in 3 sections with pierced stylized heart splats
and central slatted section.
